Alex,
I
just wanted to thank you for the series III replacement box you
sent, I
have been running it for a few weeks now and everything is fine, it
was 5 degrees the other night, the truck had been sitting for a few
days, and it started right up, the new programming seems to be
better than ever! also I noticed my mileage hasn't dropped off as
much, again thank you for your patience with me and the other issues
I had with the vehicle
Jeffery
Alex,
With your converter with
cold-start installed, this1991 Ford Escort started at 24
degrees Fahrenheit this morning. It was reluctant, but it
started using E98.
VIN 3FAPP15J5MR139425 DOHC 16v, iron block,
alloy cylinder head. Bore and stroke 86,00 x 86,00 mm , 1998 cc, compression
ratio 10.3:1 Electronic fuel injection, Ford EEC IV engine management system.
Max power 150 hp at 6000 rpm, max torque 190 Nm at 4500 rpm.

Alex, With Fuel Flex International's converter installed, fuel
adjusted to 40/60 ethanol/gasoline because gasoline was in the tank
on October 29, 2009. Engine started normally. Ran engine for 100
miles then adjusted fuel to E95 and took mileage 103959.
Toyota 1988 22RE bore-92 mm, stroke-89 mm, compression ratio
9.4:1, 116hp @ 4800 rpm, 140tq @ 2900rpm VIN JT5RN75U6J0018061
Model RN75L-PDTEA3W 033LQ41G292A43D
The
1988 Toyota 22R-E had no gasoline to burn for the 126 miles, mostly
in first gear going up or down a
mountain. All was done with ethanol, starting at 28 degrees one
morning. I don’t know what gasoline would do on a trip like this,
as I have not taken a trip like this before. Ethanol showed 12.6
mpg. On the road the Toyota goes 20 mpg most days on gasoline. We
have not tested ethanol on the road.

Installed
a FFI Platinum on my 2006 Toyota Corolla in about 30
minutes. Took about 10 minutes to connect it and loosely
place my wires and another 20 to
fine tune the wire placement and mount the box. I
carelessly cut my wire ties and ended up cutting a wire
during my test drive but a simple splice and away to get
E85. Already was running a 60/40 E85 mix so no worries
filling up my tank with 10 gallons of E85 on top of 3
gallons of gas/E85 mix. Its been 3 days and not a single
problem. Great product and very simple to install.
David Hiram, GA 8-29-09

When
you said about 15 minutes for installation I didn't
believe it, but when the complete install took only 10
minutes I was blown away. We have been driving on
ethanol every since as available and the switch between
ethanol and gas is seamless. WOW, great product FFI,
looking forward to being a new dealer.
Brian

 Alex,
installed the unit on my new Ford.
It was an easy install and the vehicle
runs great. Rich

Alex, my Maserati is running perfectly at last. We were
able to tune it in perfectly. There are no warning
lights "to go to dealer. Brilliant!
Hugh
Hello FFI,
My entry into your FFI green vehicle of the
month contest. I had this 2001
Saturn of mine converted for E85 by Arbor Biofuels
of Vancouver WA in November. They installed one of
your FFI platinum conversion kits for me.
Its been renamed "Grandpa's alcohol car" by many of
the people who know me. What fun.
It now has about 250 miles of E85 use and I just
love it. This car runs noticeably smoother, and has
the predicable "Indianapolis Speedway Syndrome"
issue. It wants to go faster now.
The great folks at Arbor Biofuels did a fantastic
job setting up the conversion kit. Carpooling has
always been fun, but now we get to add alcohol!!!
And the police actually don't mind!!!

Alex,
On the 2nd of November I installed a replacement
Flex Fuel E85 converter, that
you so kindly shipped me , into my wife’s 2006 Scion
and she has been using E85 every since (~1000
miles).
I wanted to thank you
for your help, advice and finally, the improved box
that took care of the issues I had. I especially
appreciate all of this considering that I bought the
original box from another dealer. This is above and
beyond service and I will definitely be an FFI
customer in the future.
Converted to E85
I just wanted to let you know
that I recently converted my BMW 545i to run on
E85
and it is great! There are kits readily available
for any car from Full Flex International and if you
drive a car, (like mine), that requires premium
fuel; it makes a lot of sense. In general, it seems
that E 85 is roughly 30-35% less expensive than
premium, while my mileage is reduced by about 15%
with E85, (even in cold weather), so the savings are
certainly there. In the peak of the high fuel
prices I had a couple fill-ups that were over $90
with premium fuel, but now at today’s prices, I fill
up for about $30 with E85. Even when fuel prices
were at their worst, E85 was about $0.75/gallon
cheaper and now with the prices at the lowest we’ve
seen in a long time, it is still $0.65/gallon less.
Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to
the future of E85 fuels made with other biomass
materials and the advantages it will bring to fuel
and the environment.
Thank you,

Alex, Thank you !
I've put about 8000 miles on my 2006 Buick Rendezvous since my
Fuel-Flex conversion in July 2008. It had 37,000 miles on it
when I converted it, and now has 45,000.
I'm using almost 100% E-85, and have noticed the fuel mileage is
a little less than I was getting before. Combined city/hwy
mileage is now 18 mpg when I was previously getting 20. That's
not a problem though because the E-85 costs 70 cents less per
gallon less than the E-10 I
was using before.
The real surprise has come on two road trips, one 1000 miles and
one 600 miles, when I couldn't buy E-85 on these two trips
I used 87 octane unleaded, or 89 octane E-10; and I
averaged 24 Mpg ! On my
pre-conversion road trips I would average 21 Mpg; and the best I
ever got on a pre-conversion road trip ( with a tail wind ) was
one tank full at 23 Mpg.
In short, my vehicle is running great, and I'm very pleased with
my Fuel-Flex conversion.
Sincerely, David L. Lawrence, Ks.
When the garage that did my conversion had a question, they
were very pleased with the help they received in a phone
conversation with you.
They were especially impressed that you
called the garage back the following day to see if everything
went okay !

Maybe
the ethanol gods were smiling on you and exhaled to give you a great tail
wind. If I didn't love my Jeep so much, I'd offer to trade. Always glad to hear
good reports. Runs great on ethanol! 1993 Jeep Cherokee 5-spd 4.0l -

Alex, attached are some photos of the
installation on my 2001 Nissan Frontier with
a 3.3L supercharged V6. As you can see from the
photos, I found a good place on the wiring
harness to intercept the injector wires (white
with colored stripes) and the 12V power to the
injectors (black with red stripe). All of the
connections were soldered and insulated with
heat shrink tubing, then bundled with electrical
tape.
The truck is running fine on a 50/50 mix of E85
and gasoline, with no pinging and no noticeable
loss or gain in power. I came to realize that
this device probably increases the value of this
vehicle by about $1000, since no one in their
right mind would buy a truck that uses premium
gas nowadays, unless they were a total gear head
and liked the supercharger, of course. It's
going to be really nice paying $.70 a gallon
less for fuel, though. Thanks for your help!

Hey Alex,
Sorry it took so long to take these
pictures! But here they are! Its running great and I could
only be happier if there were a closer E85 Pump.

Alex, Here is a picture and
summary of my experience in converting our new Class A
motor-home (Ford Triton V10 Chassis) to E85.
I received the E85 conversion kit on a Saturday morning
and installed it in about an hour. I proceeded to the
nearest E85 station and added enough E85 to equal the
amount of gas already in the tank. After this initial
blended tank, this motor
home will only see E85.
My wife, our dogs and I
will be traveling throughout Indiana this summer, to
various State Parks with the knowledge that we are doing
our part in the fight to eliminate this country's
dependence on foreign oil.
3-30-2008 Update:
Alex,
We just came back from our first camping
trip in our RV that I converted using a FFI converter. The RV ran
perfectly. I had no problems at all. We had a cold morning, 30 F, on
the day we left for home. The True Cold Start surely did it's job,
since the RV started and ran smoothly.
On the way back I realized how proud I was
to be a part of the ethanol revolution in this country. But no one
driving around me knew it. So I thought it would be a good idea to
promote the use of ethanol. Here I have an E85 RV with a lot of area
for signage. So I'd like to find some signs to put on the back and
the side to promote the use of ethanol and show that this RV runs of
E85. Do you know where I could find signage like this? Absolutely
John, they are in the mail!! Alex

Alex;
I installed my Fuel Flex Platinum today on my 97
suburban 5.7 liter and it
was a very easy install, after talking to you on the
phone about the wires from the Fuel Flex box and how you
splice them to the injector harness, my mind was set at
ease and I proceeded one wire at a time.
I did this conversion in my
driveway in February. on a 30 degree day in N.E. South
Dakota, I only have to tape all the wires to make it
look professional as they will not fit back into the
plastic wire harness, I will do this later today.
I guess I left the wires hanging
out in the open because well maybe I did something
wrong, but I did not and it ran perfect, no trouble
codes, I would do this conversion again maybe even for
people I know who have suburban's.
Again thanks
Green Team,
It was great to meet you and your partner
today. I have to say that I am very impressed with my vehicle's
performance.
My vehicle seems to have a lot more
"get up and go" now and seem to generally be running better.
Also, just today, we'll see how everything averages out, but the
Durango was averaging 2 miles better per gallon. Christina
 I
called the folks at FFI this morning and told them that
I had experienced a
possible problem with my conversion on my 2004 Honda
Civic and even though I had bought it from one of their
online retailers they were more than happy to help me.
Even though it was a Saturday Alex
invited me to bring my car over to their shop
immediately to check it out. Upon my arrival I was
greeted and instructed to move my vehicle inside their
facility.
After
a few minutes and with no questions asked Alex swapped
out my FFI Platinum with a brand new one and gave me a
free upgrade to their latest FFI Platinum with cold
start, then offered me some fuel to cap off the tank and
I was on my way.
This is the kind of customer
service most companies only talk about. Thanks Alex and
Thanks FFI for helping me me do my part for the
environment. Jeff, Nampa Idaho
  Hi
Alex, I just installed the unit and everything is
working good. No engine light or trouble codes
to report. The cold start feature is something I will be
monitoring
for
the up and couple weeks. I have enclosed some pictures
too. Have a Happy new year. Keith, MD
 Just
stopped in and had Alex at FFI install a Flex Fuel unit in my
moms 2001 Subaru Forester.
In less that 20 minutes
I was completed. With the motor in this vehicle being H
series the had to build a custom harness and it turned
out great. One turn of the key and it started right up! I
want to say thanks to Alex for making this vehicle Flex
Fuel and helping me do my part to kick the oil habit.
All smiles here! After a few miles
of driving, there was a very noticeable increase in
throttle response and acceleration. The first full
throttle stab was the first time the engine ever hit
redline when accelerating away from a stop light, which
was something that it never could do while running on
gasoline. Power is also much smoother, which would most
likely be contributed to the higher octane of ethanol.
My mileage down to Boise on unleaded gas was 24.2 mpg,
which would be pretty average for winter road driving in
the mountains plus the stop and go traffic in Meridian.
On the way back, it got 21.8 mpg,
which also included many full throttle accelerations in
Meridian as I was driving like I got a new toy...no
where near the mileage loss that the naysayer said that
I would
get with ethanol. I had to add 5 gallons of gas in New
Meadows to get me to the E85 pump in Lewiston and the
car adjusted to the new mix perfectly, though it didn't
seem as fun to drive.
After filling up on E85 in
Lewiston, it was back to running like a champ again.
Thanks Alex, the system performs better than I expected.
Also, there have been several people taking a peak under
the hood, so you may be getting some phone calls soon.
PS: I also
purchased a unit for my 500 Horse Power custom built jet
boat. Can't wait to fire that baby up. Sending photos
soon.
Thanks FFI

Just
finished installing my Flex Fuel unit in my sons 2004
Pontiac Grand Am. I had to
remove the intake plenum to access the fuel injectors
which turned it into about a 3 hour job.
Not really
a difficult thing to do but necessary for ease of
access. One turn of the key and it started right up! I
want to say thanks to Alex for the help he gave me with
the questions during install.
I will
definitely consider converting my 2000 Grand Cherokee in
the near future! I feel now that I am doing my part to
help lower this countries dependence on foreign oil!

 Installed Flex
Fuel converter in my 2001 Ford Explorer. The kit and
customer service were excellent. I would recommend
this kit to anyone who would like to convert to E-85.

As the senior paramedic for a
metropolitan Midwestern City, one of my duties is night-call for
multiple-casualty
disasters. Per City policy, my City vehicle is a Day-shift-only car
that can not be driven home. As such, I search and found a vehicle
that would be versatile, fun, and dependable, in all weather, that I
could equip for night as well as personal use.
Historically as other emergency
response management staff are spinning their wheels in snow and ice
in their Crown Vics, I simply ease past them in 4WD and arrive
on-scene. My interest in flexible fuels and FFI began slightly over
a year ago as I wanted an dependable and affordable alternative to
gasoline, and at the same time, one that would support the American
farmer, as my father-in-law earns his living in that manner.
I
recently purchased a FFI Digital unit built specifically for my 6
cylinder, 4.0 liter Jeep engine, and following about an 8 minute
install time and a little more to wire tie down the excess cables,
was running flawlessly on my 50% tank of E-85 / gasoline as
directed, and since the vehicle starts and runs as if it were new.
I would recommend highly to anyone an
FFI Digital Converter for their auto or truck if it isn't new enough
to already be flexible-fuel vehicle ready. I have to have a
dependable vehicle and can not afford one that doesn't start
immediately and run hard. I have found the vehicle, and the fuel
system for it that supports the American Farmer instead of OPEC.
Standard gasoline in my City today is
$2.64/gallon, E-85, $2.34/gallon Dan, Registered Paramedic - Dan.

What does a guy do when he builds and repairs cars
for a living and he needs a new car? The tough part
comes when he has to decide between a fast car and a
car that gets good gas mileage. When you are Donny,
you stay up nights until you come to a conclusion
that you can have both. The V8 Focus concept is not
new. Many have tried, some have failed
and
some would not be welcome in any state where
emissions regulations are enforced. Starting with a
really used 2001 Focus and a brand new 2000 4.6L
DOHC Cobra drive train the 28 mpg 12 second Focus
was created. And Why would you need to run this car
on Ethanol? Its all about performance and
Environment! Easy install Fuel Flex, Thanks.

After a couple of issues which were taken care of
very quickly by Alex and
David my SRT-4 has now been converted to run on E85.
The unit was a breeze to install and took about 10
minutes to dol. The car runs great and has even more
power than before. I had heard about a decrease in
fuel mileage with E85, but I haven't noticed a
difference with E85. The customer service has been
the best and all issues or questions have been taken
care of super quickly. These guys stand behind there
product and I'm sure if I have any problems they
will be there to help me. E85 is about .60 cheaper
here than super unleaded so the Sheiks in the
Middle East or the big oil companies won't be getting as
much of my money from now on.
Matt, Id
As
a teenager growing up in the great state of Idaho,
one of my big concerns is the environment. I enjoy
the great outdoors to play and relax. All you have
to do is look around you to see what is happening
with environmental issues. Giving my 1998 Jeep with
the inline straight 6 cylinder motor the ability to
choose what fuel I want to, Gas or E85 is a dream
come true. I challenge all high school students to
do as I have. Make a difference. Thanks Fuel Flex
International, for giving me a choice.

I recently
installed a Fuel Flex converter on my 2005 Dodge
Durango 5.7L Hemi (75K miles). It was a beast
before on 87LL gasoline, but now the E85 Ethanol in
the tank, it's a really hairy chested monster!! This
installation was my first, so I had my mechanic do
the honors. Very quick, easy and inexpensive. Had I
known it was going to be so easy, I'd have done it
myself (as I did on my Toyota Prius). Fuel Flex
International has a winning combination; a GREAT
products and GREAT support.
If you're
tired of supporting foreign oil, burning fossil fuel
and polluting our environment, you HAVE to give this
a try! If you would like to keep your money working
in AMERICA, Fuel Flex International is the way to
go!
